The EMG JVX Set is a mixture of old and new, utilizing traditional exposed pole pieces and EMG's X Series preamp. This preamp bridges the gap between passive and active tone and feel. Developed to deliver the classic tone and look of a vintage Jazz Bass without the noise often associated with vintage passive pickups. This pickup maintains the "faded" attack of the offset pole pieces that many players prefer in combination with our most dynamic preamp.
